Job Summary:
The Production Management Specialist will provide logistics support to the 638 SCMG at Robins AFB, assisting Government Supply Planners with organic and contract repair tasks across various squadrons. The role involves managing asset shipments, funds allocation, and production efforts, while acting as a subject matter expert to train and guide less experienced team members.

The role involves managing asset shipments, funds allocation, and production efforts, while acting as a subject matter expert to train and guide less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with organic and contract repair tasks, including managing asset shipments, predictions, funds allocation, program negotiation, and workload management.
- Monitor and manage production efforts and delivery of components for planned activities.
- Provide journeyman-level assistance and training on logistics systems and processes, including:
- Enterprise Supply Chain Analysis, Planning & Execution (ESCAPE) Program/Service Parts Management (SPM) aka Servigistics.
- Automated Budget Control System (ABCS) file maintenance, repair budget forecasting, and Program Execution.
- Repair Budget Narratives, Expiring Contracts Process, contract oversight, and closeout.
- Systems like G004L (Temporary Work Orders, MISTR Lines), Execution and Prioritization of Repair Support System (EXPRESS), Depot Repair Enhancement Program (DREP), Maintenance Planning and Execution System (MP&E), Contract Repair Management System (CRMS), CAV-AF, and PRPS.
- Preparing repair Purchase Instrument packages.
- Participate in IPTs and provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards (no more than one rejection per deliverable, three total rejections per year) and are submitted on time via WAWF (no more than two late submissions per year).
- Respond to requests for assistance within 48 business hours.
- Maintain no more than one validated customer complaint per quarter.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Air Force supply chain management.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required (no interim clearances).
- Skills: Proficiency in Air Force logistics systems (ESCAPE/SPM, ABCS, EXPRESS, DREP, MP&E, CRMS, CAV-AF, PRPS) and ability to train others.
- Certifications: Submit resumes and copies of relevant certifications to demonstrate qualifications.
Work Environment:
- Primarily onsite at Robins AFB, co-located with 638 SCMG personnel.
- Situational telework may be authorized with Contracting Officer approval, using only government-approved equipment, at no additional cost to the government.
- Core hours: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday; flexible hours (6:00 AM–9:00 AM, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM) permitted
